Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python Django Developer with around 3 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django
Build and consume RESTful APIs
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Follow Agile/Scrum development processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django
Strong understanding of Django ORM, MVC/MVT architecture
Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic front-end understanding)
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Familiarity with deployment tools and environments (AWS, Docker, or similar is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF)
Exposure to Celery, Redis, or background task processing
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience working in Agile teams
